VISION OF AVALOKITESVARA (Tib: Chenrezig )

The most famous patron saint of Tibet, the embodiment of all the Buddhas’compassion, holds in his centre hands the wish fulfilling jewel, granting all wishes of all beings. His outer left hand holds the utpala flower with the two buds, representing his knowledge the three times: past, present and future. His outer right hand holds a crystal rosary reminding the practitioners and all beings to repeat the mantra of the great compassion: om mani padme hum. The vision of this painting was perceived at Chandrakirti meditation centre in New Zealand.
