MANJUSHRI. Je Tsong Khapa is considered as the emanation of Manjushri, the embodiment of the enlightened wisdom of all the Buddhas. His left hand holds the stem of a lotus flower, which supports the “ Perfection of Wisdom Sutra” – the text reveals the insight into the ultimate nature of reality. His right hand holds a flaming sword symbolising the power of wisdom to cut through ignorance, the root of all suffering.
