USHNISHA VIJAYA (Tib. Nam.gyaelma)

Ushnisha Vijaya – Victorious Crown Protrusion – is a female Deity of a powerful long life practice which was taught by Buddha Shakyamuni to the beings in the God realm. Too confusing for human audiences, the Buddha revealed this practice not through spoken words but through his Ushnisha. The practice eliminates obstacles to long life but also purifies the negative results of unwholesome actions of body, speech and mind motivated by delusions.
